She has worked for 35 years starting as a designer, then brand manager, and now as an academic. She was a fashion designer in Italy, in New York and in Tokyo. She worked as a manager for the LVMH Group in Paris. She has worked for SMEs as well as for multinationals. She holds a degree in fashion design, an MBA in International Luxury Brand Management, and a PhD in Business History.

She is the Director of the MSc in EU-Asia Luxury Marketing in ESSCA School of Management, a French Business school with a branch in Shanghai. Through her conferences, coaching, training, and writing activities, she addresses the industry’s past evolution and future issues. Her first book, comparing the Japanese and Chinese fashion industries’ path to creativity will soon be published in Paris. Her goal is to inspire new generations of young entrepreneurs as well as professionals in large companies, to address social and environmental issues, and to foster creative thinking and solutions. Her current research collaboration with Impact Hub on sustainable fashion aims at uncovering the Chinese approach of this important global issue.
