Fashion is part of the creative industries, and the creative economy. Fashion industries did not emerge in the same way in different parts of the world, but what they all have in common is an industrial base. Some countries have developed more creative brands than others, but facing sustainability, they may all need as much creativity to find solutions for the future of the planet.

We think that creative solutions are not just in the hands of managers. Indeed, sustainable fashion links production with consumption. As you may know, this is what the 12th goal of the UN SDGs is about. What does that mean? It means that managers of large and small fashion companies, as well as any single consumer, are part of the same ecosystem, and can collaborate in creative ways. In this short online session, we will address these issues, and explore some ideas and opportunities, interacting with the audience. This will be a teaser for a one-day workshop, held at the end of December, for sustainable start-ups in the fashion industry.
