In May 2016, as the only Internet company, Alibaba Group was entitled as the first batch of "Innovation & Entrepreneurship Demonstration Base”. The Alibaba Cloud Innovation Center is a high-tech “innovation &entrepreneurship" incubator platform which belongs to Alibaba Group. It is based on the Internet, cloud computing and big data. It has launched 56 Innovation Center incubators in more than 22 cities with a total area over 100,000 square meters, accumulated for more than 3,000 start-ups enterprises to provide cloud resources to support and other resources of the Department of Ali docking, which received a total investment of 850 million yuan.
At present, 80% of enterprises are incubated in the upstream and downstream industrial chains such as "cloud computing, big data and AIOT". More than 160 high-quality projects have been introduced, more than 10 high-tech enterprises have been incubated, and more than 10 projects have been successfully graduated.
